What is a Trust Score?
A trust score is a number from 1.0 to 5.0 that represents how trustworthy and reliable a supplier is on EventRep. It's designed to help event organisers make informed decisions when choosing suppliers.
How is it Calculated?
Trust scores are calculated using multiple factors, each weighted according to their importance:
Reviews & Ratings
40% weightThe average of all reviews received from verified organisers. More reviews from different organisers carry more weight than a few reviews from the same source.
Verification Status
25% weightSuppliers with verified documents (insurance, certifications, etc.) receive a boost. Keeping documents up to date is essential to maintain this score.
Response Rate
15% weightHow quickly and consistently a supplier responds to messages and enquiries. Fast responders are marked as more reliable.
Profile Completeness
10% weightA complete profile with logo, description, services, and portfolio demonstrates professionalism and helps build trust.
Platform Activity
10% weightActive suppliers who regularly engage with the platform, apply to events, and keep their information current score higher.

How to Improve Your Trust Score
- Deliver excellent service – Happy clients leave positive reviews
- Keep documents verified – Upload and maintain current certifications
- Respond quickly – Aim to reply to all messages within 24 hours
- Complete your profile – Add all information, photos, and portfolio items
- Stay active – Regularly apply to relevant events and engage with the platform
- Ask for reviews – Encourage satisfied clients to leave feedback
